Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Port Alice, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The Village of Port Alice is requesting proposals from qualified contractors to supply a design/build (D-B) proposal that includes design, work plan, equipment, labour, and materials necessary to complete a kayak storage facility in Lions Park, Port Alice, BC. The indicative design, approved by Village council is attached in Appendix A and outlines the intended scope of work. The facility is to include the following criteria: Storage for 21-28 kayaks Adequate space between racks for one (1) person to load/unload their kayak Internal and external locker facilities for equipment storage Changing rooms External fresh water for gear rinsing Internal and external lighting, and electrical outlets to BCBC Keyed access through side door Internally operated overhead garage doors Levelled, external gravel pad for equipment trailer
