Site work, renovation and addition to a warehouse / distribution facility in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the addition of a 200,000-square-foot, two-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility; for the renovation of a 30,000-square-foot, one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.

Construction of an addition and renovations of the Société des Alcools du Québec distribution centre. The scope of the project includes the construction of a 200,000 ft2 addition to introduce a freelance system and automated unit storage (OSR) as well as increase the conventional storage capacity (pallets). The scope of the project also includes the relocation of various facilities, including the road vehicle maintenance workshop, carpentry and painting workshop. TIMELINE: Construction is underway. Working drawings are being finalized by construction packages. Contract for the first construction package relating to interior alterations and partial demolition work has been awarded and is followed in the report under CRM ID name Relocation of a Mechanical Workshop and Demolition Work. Following the Request for proposals SP-220115 (followed in the report under CRM ID name Expansion of Montreal SAQ Automated Warehouse Building - Construction Manager) the owner has awarded a construction manager for implementation subsequent construction packages of the project. Construction is underway. Subsequent package tenders will be followed in new separate reports.
