Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Lincoln, California. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Twelve Bridges Trail: Park 24 to Ridgecrest Drive Improvement Plans Grading, underground utilities, group picnic shelter, accessible pathways and sidewalks, electrical, lighting, landscaping with irrigation, cobble swales, play structures, site furnishings, signage and trail improvements. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check or a bidder's bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate amount of the bid including the highest alternate. Said check or bond shall be made payable to Developer, and shall be forfeited to Developer if the successful bidder refuses, neglects, or fails to file satisfactory bonds as required by the Contract Documents or to enter into the agreement for construction after being requested to do so by Developer. The successful bidder will be required to post a Labor and Materials Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, both in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, no later than ten (10) days after notification of award of the contract, and before Developer will execute the Agreement for Construction. Before final payment, the successful bidder must also guarantee his work and secure that guarantee with a bond in an amount no less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the contract. Taylor Morrison will affirmatively ensure that, in any Contract entered into pursuant to this Notice to Bidders, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code section 3300, the Developer has determined that the following license classification is required to perform this project: Class C27 and/or Class A. The Contractor shall complete the entire work for this project within 150 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed from the Developer. The anticipated start of construction for the project is May 10, 2021. The Owner desires to have final completion by October 6, 2021 (150 calendar days). Developer reserves all rights to reject any and/or all bids, or to utilize any alternate procedure as authorized by Public Contract Code sections 20166 and 20167. Developer also reserves all rights to waive any informality in the bids or bidding. SCOPE OF WORK. Contractor agrees to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and other facilities required to complete the Work based upon the scope(s) of work referenced in Exhibit B attached hereto and as more particularly described in a specific Authorizing Addendum (collectively, whether one or more, the “Scope of Work”)(hereinafter, collectively the “Work”) in compliance with all Contract Documents, as those documents are identified herein. The Work shall include all labor, equipment, materials, facilities, technology, supervision and services that are: (a) reasonably inferable from the Scope of Work specified; (b) customarily performed and provided by competent contractors as part of the proper performance of the Work of the type specified; (c) necessary for the successful, timely and safe completion of the Work; (d) necessary to cut, fit or patch portions of the Work, as required to make its several parts come together properly, and to fit it to receive or be received by the work of other contractors, as shown upon or reasonably implied by the Contract Documents; and (e) necessary to fulfill the undertakings, covenants, guarantees, representations and warranties set forth in this Agreement, the Contract Documents and warranty requests by Taylor Morrison
