Site work, paving, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Powerview, Manitoba. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility; for the construction of a 2,000-square-foot, one-story above grade parking garage; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a parking garage; and parking garage.
The Government of Canada requires the following at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Detachment in Powerview, MB: 1. the construction of a new detached garage at the rear of the facility building with a new asphalt parking lot; 2. a renovation of the facility building's existing interior garage space into office space including removal and close in of the facility building's garage door; and 3. a renovation of the existing facility building's office space. This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 120 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first. No further Request for Qualifications will be published for this solicitation. Documents may be obtained through the GETS service provider on the Government of Canada Web site at: http://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tenders
