Site work for a water / sewer project in San Jacinto, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of June 25, 2021. the project is expected to be awarded on July 7, 2021. Four different wells sites in the City of San Jacinto within District-owned properties. The addresses of each well site are as follows: Well 201: 786 E Shaver St. Well 202: 1305 E Seventh St. Well 203: 1133 E Evans St. Well 205/80: 1140 E Seventh St The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment for construction and equipping of four (4) Well Sites; Well 201, Well 202, Well 203, and Well 205. The work at each well site shall include, but not be limited to: field survey and earthwork (grading, importing specified fill material and backfill material, trenching, shoring, bedding, and backfilling); construction of well pump foundation; furnishing and installing a deep well vertical turbine pumping unit, including pumping unit, electric motor, variable frequency drive, mechanical equipment, and pump column discharge piping; furnishing and installing a standby emergency diesel generator, load bank, outside fuel storage tank, active diesel particulate filter including foundations, and supports; all testing and start-up, preparation, and permitting and approvals required; traffic control, including preparation of traffic control plans; preparation, approval, and implementation of a SWPPP; Implementation of required MMRP's; furnishing and installing electrical equipment, controls, instrumentation, and appurtenances; furnishing and installing electrical service, transformer, and meter in accordance with the SCE Plan of Service; furnishing and installing pipelines and appurtenances, including aboveground and belowground discharge and well blow-off piping, valves, fittings, flow meters, and appurtenances; connecting to existing pipelines; furnishing, constructing, and installing a masonry block building, including access doors, concrete building foundation, HVAC equipment, and lighting; installing all OFCI equipment; performing all site work, including site masonry block wall with access gates, drainage facilities, driveways, crushed rock, and pavement (aggregate base and AC pavement); demolition of existing transformer and facilities at existing Well No. 80; protecting in place all existing utilities; and testing and start-up of all pumps and equipment, electrical equipment, pipelines, and appurtenances. All work shall be performed in accordance with these specifications and the contract drawings. All bonds shall be executed by admitted surety insurers, as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory surety bond (by utilizing the District's Bid Bond form BB-1) for not less than 10% of the bidder's total contract price as a guarantee that the bidder shall, within seven (7) days after the mailing of a notice of acceptance of bid by the District to the bidder, enter into the written contract supplied by the District. The District shall return the bid bond, upon request. The Contractor shall furnish a faithful performance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the amount of the contract and a labor payment bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Questions received after this time may not be responded to. The District reserves the right to: A. Accept or reject any or all bids on this specification; B.
