The University of British Columbia is inviting qualified proponents to submit for the Museum of Anthropology Great Hall Renewal project, construction stage. The Great Hall renewal scope includes the demolition and reconstruction of the Great Hall precast and cast-in-place structure with the use of base isolation technology, replacement of existing structural glazing and skylights, new lighting, finishes and services. The project scope also includes skylight replacement, addition of sprinklers and construction of a utilities room outside of the Great Hall. *The Great Hall rebuild project carries a total cost of $30.5 million. *Award amount was not released for publication.
