As of July 12, 2021, a group of design firms have been selected on-call landscape architectural services. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Davis is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional on-call landscape architect and design services performed in accordance with the standards of the profession. The City of Davis updated its Parks and Recreation Facilities Master Plan in 2012, and anticipates beginning another update in FY 2021-22. The City has a multitude of projects addressing deferred maintenance of existing parks and greenbelts, while also desiring to expand and enhance current amenities and recreational facilities. The City also desires to implement such projects with a key emphasis on being environmentally and fiscally sustainable. The City also has open space areas in need of habitat restoration or additional signage, including branding, locational, site-specific and interpretive signage. The term of the agreement shall be for a period of two (2) years from the date that the contract is signed. Unless either party provides a sixty (60) day written notice prior to the end of such two (2) year period, the term of the Agreement shall be automatically extended an additional year from the date under the same terms, conditions and prices agreed upon in the initial proposal. No price changes are permitted during the initial two (2) year term of this agreement. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
