**As of June 28, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Health and Human Services Commission is soliciting proposals for the selection of a Construction Manager-at-Risk (CMR) to provide the following services: (i) pre-construction services, such as constructability guidance, cost estimates, site evaluations, and construction schedules; (ii) upon completion of the design development phase, provide a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) at the election of HHSC; and (iii) perform complete construction services consistent with the construction manager-at-risk delivery process described in the attached draft contract between Owner and Construction Manager-at-Risk for Project No. 20-009-BSH, Kitchen Renovations, Generator and HVAC Installation, Big Spring State Hospital, Big Spring, TX (the Project). Bldg. 534 - Kitchen remodel to include: patient and staff restrooms w/ anti ligature fixtures as required, ceiling replacement, lighting upgrade, door frame and window replacements, exhaust hood replacement, EMS for refrigerator/freezer monitoring, RO system upgrades. Bldgs. 506, 532, 533 and 540 - Replace emergency generators. Early release package. Bldgs. 506, 532 and 533 - Replace windows. Bldgs. 502 and 538 - Finish replacements as needed for plumbing work. Bldg. 557 - Anti-ligature work to include replacement of toilet partitions, ADA bars, toilet paper dispensers, mechanical louvers, fixtures and miscellaneous items. Bldgs. 532 and 533 - Tile and grout replacement on walls and floors. Rusted doors and windows replacement. Fan coil replacements. Bldgs. 532 and 533 - Remove and replace existing sanitary sewer lines. 25% of sewer lines have been replaced in Bldg. 533.
