Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of August 8, 2023, per owner, this project has been cancelled. The Guilford County Board of Education seeks to select individuals or firms experienced in the design of public-school facilities to provide architectural/engineering services for proposed complete renovation improvements for the McIver Elementary Gym and Locker Rooms and moderate renovations of some classrooms. All questions or requests for information regarding this RFQ should be submitted in writing by email to: Joe Farrar at farrarj@gcsnc.com no later than 12:00 noon on April 27, 2021. The Guilford County Board of Education is committed to providing equal opportunities for participation in all aspects of Guilford County Schools contracting. The Board of Education actively seeks to identify qualified minority, handicapped, and womenowned business enterprises and has adopted a verifiable goal of 12.46 % percent for participation by minority and womenowned business enterprises, and such business enterprises are encouraged to submit their qualifications. After review of the submitted qualifications, selected firms may be requested to make a formal proposal and presentation. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
