Per the owner, as of May 19, 2022, an award has been made for this solicitation. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ............. The Newhall School District (“District”) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQ”) for architectural/engineering services from highly qualified firms (“Respondent”) to provide architectural and design services for new school construction. The intent of this Request for Qualifications is to select an architect to provide design and investigative services for the building of a new elementary school. All questions must be emailed to Sheri Staszewski, sstaszewski@newhallsd.com, no later than 2:00PM on April 13, 2021. Description of projects for which services are required: A large Zero Net Energy ("ZNE") housing development located within and around the District's boundaries has been proposed and approved. Within the housing development, there are plans for multiple schools including three (3) allocated to the District. The proposed site for the District's schools are approximately 10 acres. Over the next 10 years the District is planning on building three (3) New Schools that incorporate non-traditional learning spaces and other education enhancing designs. The first of the three new schools will be built in the near future and the District needs to select an architect firm to provide architectural, design and site investigative services. The school site has recently received its preliminary report from CDE, please see Attachment A for the report. This school will be built by a developer using the District's Education Specifications, which can be found on the District's website on the Business Services Department page under Facilities Master.
