Site work and outdoor lighting for a civil project in College Station, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.
Question Submission Close Date 4/10/2021 2:00 PM CDT IFB - Installation of Concrete Foundations, Power Poles and Transformer Bases Used poles, arms, and light fixtures are acceptable provided they are in good condition. TTI will have the right to inspect any poles prior to install to determine if the condition is acceptable. New transformer bases are required. Successful bidder must provide MTRs for all new materials supplied. Contractor will install foundations and erect pole assemblies on site. Two total foundations are required (per attached drawings and applicable TxDOT standards): a 6-ft deep foundation for the 30-ft pole assembly and an 8-ft deep foundation that will be used for testing both the 40-ft and 50-ft pole assemblies. Contractor should budget for a digger truck (or equivalent) on site for one day to set poles in the sequence needed for testing. All bidders must provide acknowledgement of all items on attached "Test Item Bid Requirements" as part of their bid package. Note - Price(s) bid must be include any costs necessary to complete this task, including but not limited to: Labor, Machinery, Fuel, Hardware, Supplies. Pricing on Luminaire Poles shall be held for a period of 90 days.Once the research project has been completed, a total of TWO (2) additional poles of the desired size (determined by project) may be ordered.
