The Texas A&M University System Office of Facilities Planning & Construction (FP&C) on behalf of the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System (Owner) and Texas A&M University are soliciting statements of qualifications for selection of an Architect/Engineer (A/E) firm for the 02-3272 Instructional Laboratory & Innovative Learning Building (ILSQ) (Project), in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements set forth in this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Facilities Planning & Construction is soliciting qualifications for the Instructional Laboratory & Innovative Learning Building (ILSQ) at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. The project will provide a new 119,993 gross square feet building on the main campus. Allotting over three-fourths of the assignable square footage of 71,996 to direct instructional spaces, the new facility is programmed to provide the University with 28 science lab spaces for chemistry instruction and 8 interdisciplinary studios for art instruction. In addition to lab space, the facility will contain an interdisciplinary maker space and small and large study spaces for students to gather, study and collaborate. The planning amount for the project is $100,000,000 and the AACC is $72,259,000. This RFQ is the first step in the process for selecting an A/E firm. The RFQ provides the information necessary to prepare and submit Qualifications for consideration by the Owner. The Owner may select the top three (3) or more of the top ranked qualified respondents to present their qualifications during an interview.
