The City of College Station invites qualified contractors to submit bids for replacing the pump bowls and lower the well pumps to deeper depths to extend the life of City of College Station Wells 1 & 2 and maximize their production by replacing and upsizing the existing motors. Question Deadline 10/06/2025 at 2:00 PM CT online submission. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A. Work is described in general, non-inclusive terms as: 1. Rehabilitation of City of College Station Well No. 1 and Well No. 2. Work shall be performed as shown and specified in the contract documents. Work shall include, but not be limited to: a. Conduct a field performance test of each well to determine baseline performance and provide written testing report prior to beginning work as specified. b. Contractor shall provide equipment rig(s) and personnel needed to perform the rehabilitation of each well as specified. c. The Contractor shall submit a schedule of work and sequence of work that prioritizes completion of the work at Well No. 1 and Well No. 2. d. Removal and inspection of the well motor, well discharge head, pump column pipe assembly and pump bowl and provide a written inspection report(s) as specified. e. Well rehabilitation includes brushing, jetting, chlorine treatment, acid treatment, agitation and/or sonar jetting as shown and specified.
