Demolition, site work and new construction of a civil project in Hampton, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Willard Avenue Pump Station Replacement (BH013020/VCWRLF NO C-515663G) and Hampton Trunk Sewer Extension Division K Gravity Improvements (BH014900/VCWRLF NO C-515663G) Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders. The Project or Work for the Willard Avenue Pump Station Replacement project includes the replacement of the Willard Avenue Pump Station to address conditional and capacity issues. The proposed replacement will include a pump station, gravity sewer, force main connections and the demolition of the existing pump station. The Project or Work for the Hampton Trunk Sewer Extension Division K Gravity Improvements includes gravity sewer and manhole replacement in addition to several point repairs. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid. Technical questions should be submitted electronically. This project is being funded in part under the Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF). Bidders shall comply with the Presidents Executive Order No. 11246 (Prohibiting discrimination in employment regarding race, color, creed, sex or national origin), No. 12138 and No. 11625 (Regarding MBE/WBE utilization). Bidders shall also comply with the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Bidders must certify that they do not and will not maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregated on basis of race, color, creed or national origin.
