Alternate 1 estimate - $700,000; Alternate 2 estimate - $125,000. Contract Time is 540 calendar days 1. Installation of approximately 20,500 linear feet of 8-inch through 12-inch diameter gravity sewer as indicated. This work includes furnishing and installing all precast sewer manholes, sewer stubs at side streets, chimney connections, sewer services, and all appurtenant work. Sewer service connections shall be provided for each property abutting the mainline sewers. Sewer service connections shall be provided from the main line sewer to the right of way line. Sewer service locations are shown on the drawings; final locations of the service connections are subject to change and shall be determined in the field during construction. 2. Furnishing and installing a Pump Station on a town-acquired parcel, and all appurtenant work, on Strawberry Hill Road near the intersection with Craigville Beach Road (additive Bid Alternate A). 3. Furnishing and installing approximately 1,570 linear feet of 4-inch diameter sewage force main in Craigville Beach Road. The force main will be installed dry, for future use. This work includes all testing and appurtenant work. 4. Furnishing and installing approximately 4,780 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sewage force main in Strawberry Hill Road. This work includes furnishing and installing all precast cleanout manholes, and all testing and appurtenant work. The Town of Barnstable Department of Public Works (the Town) intends to build a gravity sewage collection system in Craigville Beach Road, Strawberry Hill Road, Wequaquet Lane, Phinney's Lane and West Main Street, a sewage pump station on Strawberry Hill Road, sewage force mains in Craigville Beach Road (to be installed dry) and Strawberry Hill Road to Pine Street, and a Hyannis Water Company water main in Phinney's Lane.
