Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Construction of Lakeview Retreat Lift Station No. 3 and Force Main The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to construct Lakeview Retreat Lift Station No. 3 and Force Main including but not limited to mobilization, bonds and insurance; construction of an 8-foot (8') diameter cast-in-place concrete wet well, complete with two (2) submersible pumps with all accessories, riser piping, valves, coatings, fence and gates, site work, concrete pavement, 8-inch (8") on-site sanitary sever piping including well pointing and dewatering as necessary, two (2) on-site manholes, 4-inch (4") on-site force main, water line, one (1) 40-kW diesel engine generator, sound attenuated weatherproof level 2 enclosure and 24-hour integral storage tank, generator concrete pad, automatic transfer switch, load bank testing, lift station control panel, automatic telephone dialer, electrical service disconnect switches, conduit, wire; trench safety system at all depths; Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan implementation, maintenance, and record keeping; construction staking to be performed by Jones|Carter (one time only) of property corners and wet well center; and hydromulch seeding and all else as shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for a fully functioning lift station; and approximately 670 LF of off-site sanitary sewer force main and one (1) off-site corrosion resistant manhole and all else shown on the construction drawings and detailed in the specifications for the off-site sanitary sewer to discharge to the existing system. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond, a Maintenance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract Price, from a surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. This Agreement is entered on a blanket basis. The terms of the Agreement shall govern all current and future work of Contractor for Owner. The work to be performed under this Agreement (the "Work") shall include all work performed and materials supplied by Contractor to Owner, including, but not limited to, the labor, services and/or materials, equipment, transportation, or facilities necessary to complete the construction-related activities generally described in Exhibit A. The applicable quantities and pricing for the Work shall be reflected in the price sheet, proposal, bid, or purchase order issued by Owner, or in other documentation most recently accepted and approved in writing by Owner (the "Pricing Schedule"). The Pricing Schedule or any other writing will not modify any ofthe terms ofthis Agreement unless executed in the form of an amendment to this Agreement. Owner is not obligated to award any work on specific property to Contractor regardless ofthe Pricing Schedule, does not guarantee any quantity of work to Contractor, and may at its sole option retain others to perform the Work or similar' work at any job location in addition to or in place ofContractor.
