The Work includes the construction of a 42,216 square foot (24,756 first floor, 17,460 second floor) addition to the Converse County Joint Justice and Dispatch Center. The addition is a two-story mixed-use occupancy (Group B (Business), Group A-3 (Assembly), Group I-3 (Institutional), and Group S (Storage)) of Construction Type IIB with an automatic sprinkler system. Major building assemblies include, concrete spread footings and stem walls, reinforced- slab-on-grade concrete floor slab, polished concrete, structural steel frame, cold-rolled steel stud, CMU, manufactured stone masonry, insulated-composite backup panels, fluid -applied membrane air barrier, metal plate wall panels, solid phenolic wall panels, aluminum storefront, glazed aluminum curtain walls, slope glazing assemblies, low-slope single-ply roofing, detention equipment doors, frames and hardware, fire-alarm, telecommunications, security electronics, plumbing, HVAC and temperature control. Site improvements include grading, utilities, flatwork, paving, landscaping, site lighting. First floor of the addition consists of a new secured entry, Clerk of Circuit Court offices, Circuit Court Judge's suite, archival records storage, Circuit Courtroom, jury deliberation, inmate holding, and County prosecuting attorney suite. Second floor of the addition consists of the Clerk of District Court offices, District Court Judge's suite, records storage, District Courtroom, jury deliberation, and inmate holding.
