Site work for a municipal facility in Topton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of E & S controls, selective demolition, and the installation of creek bank stabilization and stream flow improvements to Toad Creek as shown or reasonably implied on drawings and specifications by Barry Isett & Associates, Engineer. Bids must include a bid bond, with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount, all posted through the portal. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. The contract requires conformance with the Non-Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause which can be found in the specification of this project Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online at the Engineer's office and referred to the Owner for final award. An abstract of the Bids will be available to bidders on PennBid at the date and time that bids are due, as indicated above. Prevailing wage rates and Related Acts apply to this Project. Questions may be submitted through portal "Clarifications (from Bidders)" tab on or before 4:00 P.M. on April 27, 2021. Responses will be provided via portal. The Borough of Topton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions of to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty (60) days.
