The work generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials (other than those scheduled to be furnished by the Owner), equipment, tools, and incidentals necessary to remove existing cold water meters, registers, and reading devices (if applicable), and to install new Neptune Mach 10(R) ultrasonic water meters with absolute encoder registers, including pit meters, ranging in size from 5/8-inch through 6-inch and R900(R) radio frequency (RF) endpoints connected to each water meter. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount and in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price will be required in the form described in the Instructions to Bidders. Contractor shall complete all Work as specified in the Contract Documents.
