Site work and paving for a civil project in Fairhaven, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The work consists of repairs to variable size concrete spalls on the existing precast concrete beams of the Goulart Bridge. The project also includes removal and replacement of damaged water main insulation on the north side of the bridge and additional repairs to the water main as determined by the Engineer upon removal of the insulation. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. A bid deposit shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Workforce Development under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Section 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project. It is the responsibility of the Contractor, before Bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed Work under this Contract
