Demolition, site work and renovation of a detention facility in Preston, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the demolition of a detention facility; for the renovation of a 22,230-square-foot, one-story above grade detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.
The work will be accomplished through multiple contracts with Fillmore County, with Contegrity Group Inc. acting as the Construction Manager. The following categories of work will be bid (subject to change): Earthwork/Utilities/Exterior Improvements, Concrete, Precast Concrete, Masonry, Structural Steel Erection, Carpentry, Metal Wall Panels & Roofing, Overhead Doors, Aluminum Windows/Doors & Glazing, Gypsum Board, Tile, Acoustical Treatments, Flooring, Painting, Lockers, Food Service Equipment, Detention Equipment, Fire Protection, Plumbing, HVAC, Controls, Testing/Adjusting & Balancing, Electrical/Communications/Safety and Security. Address of Project: 901 Houston Street NW, Preston, MN 55965 As of October 13, 2023, construction had commenced at the beginning of July 2023. Completion is expected around the end of October 2025. *This project has been awarded and all trades have been let.
