Site work for a water / sewer project in New Lexington, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project consists of installation of approximately 32,000 feet 4" and 8" waterline, valves, hydrants, services, and other necessary appurtenances. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the Bidding Documents and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The OWNER intends that this Project be completed no later than the time period as set forth in Article 4 of the Standard Form of Agreement Between OWNER and CONTRACTOR on the Basis of a Stipulated Price. Each Bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, handicap, ancestry, or age. All CONTRACTORs and subcontractors involved with the project shall to the extent practicable, use Ohio products, materials, services and labor in the implementation of their project. DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE (OHIO) REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 OF THE (OHIO) REVISED CODE CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. Additionally, CONTRACTOR compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Perry County as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Division of Labor and Worker Safety - Wage and Hour. The Perry County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities. The Perry County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or times and/or award the bid to the lowest and best bidder.
