The work on this contract generally consists of the following: Selective demolition of existing infrastructure Maintaining existing infrastructure that is to remain Salvaging and repurposing of existing materials Construction of new structures, hardscape surfaces, landscaping, shade sails, lighting, and other appurtenances. The work shall be performed in accordance with the approved construction documents. All materials and shop drawings shall be submitted for review by the Engineer of Record. Additional work may be requested by the Town to be performed as negotiated based on pricing provided in this bid, as well as other items as deemed commensurate for the requested scope of work. The location of the project is at the north end of Old San Carlos Boulevard within the Town of Fort Myers Beach, Lee County, Florida. The TOWN will require a Bid Bond and a Public Construction Bond on this project. Project documents and specifications can be viewed at the office of Town Hall, Town of Fort Myers Beach. The Town of Fort Myers Beach reserves the right, in its sole judgment in the best interest of the Town of Fort Myers Beach, to waive any informalities in any bids; to make award(s) including multiple awards; to waive any non-substantive, in Town's sole judgment, irregularity or technicality in bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids. No bids were received. The owner plans to rebid the project in the near future.
