If your bid is accepted and results, through negotiation or otherwise, in a contract award you will be expected to accept the NORTH CAROLINA GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS as part of the Contract. Dependent upon the product or service being offered, other terms and conditions may apply. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish an Agency Specific Term Contract, to obtain pricing, and select a Vendor to fulfill the annual needs of the North Carolina Department of Transportation for its Spring 2021 Fertilizer and Limestone, beginning with the date of award and continuing through August 31, 2021. It is understood that the State will have the right to order, prior to August 31, 2021, additional material for delivery to points listed at the prices bid herein or adjusted per the terms and conditions of the contract, but such additional offers shall not exceed 50% of the quantity shown herein for each delivery point. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract to one (1) Vendor, though the State reserves the right to make partial, progressive, or multiple awards where it is advantageous to award separately by items, where more than one supplier is needed to provide the contemplated requirements as to quantity, quality, delivery, service, and geographical areas, and where other factors are deemed to be necessary or proper to the procurement in question.
