Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New York, New York. Working plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The owner has selected a Design Builder. Proposers must send an e-mail request to jweldon@mtabt.org to obtain the participation link / call-in number. The Contract will be for the purpose of Design-Build services for a new pedestrian walkway from Harlem River Lift Span (HRLS) to Manhattan, HRLS towers fender rehabilitation, and miscellaneous work at Robert F Kennedy (RFK) Bridge. The design-construction cost range for this project is $35M - $50M. Estimated duration from award to substantial completion is within 24 months with interim milestones ii. All questions must be submitted in writing by May 7, 2021 Current anticipated date for Contract Award is December, 2021 and the anticipated contract duration is within 24 months, with interim milestone completion of work on land *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. RK-23D New 10ft wide pedestrian ramp leading from the RFK HRLS north walkway to the site of the future Manhattan Greenway Harlem River Waterfront Park. Cantilevered supports from existing RFK bridge piers to support ramp structure. New pile supported footings and piers supporting the new pedestrian ramp. New pile supported abutment, retaining walls and supports for the switchback landing fill structure for the new pedestrian ramp. Drainage system for the new pedestrian ramp in conformance to all applicable codes and regulations and coordinated with the future park layout. New fencing and railing for the entire length of the ramp in conformance with all applicable codes and regulations and RFP design criteria. New lighting for the entire length of the new pedestrian ramp providing required illumination of the ramp. New Ramp lighting shall utilize lighting fixtures/system complementing the aesthetics of the surroundings. Surface finishes at the ramp to promote safety of pedestrian, reduction of bicycle speeds, and compliance with ADA requirements. RK-83 Perform all required surveys and replace the fender cribs with fiberglass piles. Full replacement of the existing fender boards. Removal of the cribs located between the bridge tower piers. Installation of a fixed debris barrier between the bridge tower piers. Replacement of all catwalks on the tower piers fender system. Replace and install new navigation lighting and signage. Inspection of existing fenestrations (doors, windows, and louvers), ladders and hatches at concrete Pier Towers 16W, 17W, 18W, and 19W of the HRLS. Provide structural repairs and waterproofing coatings required at these piers. Rehabilitate HRLS rooms A2, A3, B2, and C2, including repainting walls and new LED lighting--reference Location Map. Repair water supply pipes including heat tracing and associated demolition work for the HRLS Room 'D'. New accent lighting for the concrete piers and steel bridge towers at Piers 17W and 18W. Address maintainability needs of navigation lights, marine signs and accent lighting. Demolition of the existing abandoned Manhattan Meter Room building, including any requisite HazMat abatement, utility relocation, and restoration of the area. RFK HRLS Bridge and approach pier rehabilitation, including concrete repairs and coating.
