Site work and paving for a road / highway in La Porte, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Work to be performed shall in-clude furnishing all labor, equip-ment and materials for the resur-facing/improvement of streets,and all other work shown and specified in the Contract Docu-ments. The sites of construction are between Kingsbury Avenue and I Street along 18th Street and along Kingsbury Avenue between Fox Street and 18th Street, all within the City of La Porte, Indiana. NOTE: Specifications and Bid-ding Documents obtained from any other source will deem the Bid Non-Responsive, and thus in-eligible for award of a Contract.Bids must be on the Bid Form contained in the Specifications. Each bidder must also complete a Form 96 (as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts); an ex-ecuted non-collusion affidavit;signed copies of addenda (if is-sued); a completely executed City Affidavits of Compliance; and sat-isfactory bid security as set forth in the Contract Documents. Allbids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Bid.No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. TheBoard of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept a full or par-tial award of the bid, which, in its judgment, will be to the best in-terests of the City of La Porte.
