Reference number : 1478064 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2021-04-26 LAKE MONACO AND DIGUE SECONDARY DAM UPGRADE WORK The City of Brownsburg-Chatham is requesting bids for work to bring the Lac Monaco dam and secondary dike up to standard, if applicable. The work includes the installation of two (2) HDPE pipes as well as the rip-rap upstream and downstream of the pipes. To be considered, any bid must be accompanied by: 1. A bid bond or certified check equivalent to 10% (taxes included) of the amount of the bid in favor of the contracting authority and valid for a period. one hundred and twenty (120) days following the opening of tenders; 2. A letter of intent from a company authorized to stand surety and committing to provide a performance bond equivalent to 50% (taxes included) of the amount of the contract, as well as a guarantee payment of wages, materials and labor equivalent to 50% (taxes included) of the amount of the contract. The company must also comply with the following restrictions and conditions: The company must hold a license issued by the RBQ and which is "without indication of restriction within the meaning of the Building Act for the purposes of obtaining of a public contract ". The company must not have been found guilty with regard to the AERM, the electoral law (RSQ, c. E-2.3) and the Act respecting school elections and its name must not be entered in the register of DGE for this purpose. The Town of Brownsburg-Chatham does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received and that without incurring any obligation towards the tenderer (s). award is subject to final approval.
