Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is anticipated to begin September 2025 and finish by February 15, 2026. A detailed scope has not yet been released. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Des Moines Marina requests Statements of Qualifications for consulting services to provide a long-term conceptual design for the overall Dock Replacement Project and to provide design, civil & coastal engineering, and architectural services, prepare construction documents, cost estimates and complete bid documents, obtain project permits, construction management and inspection, and provide project administration for the individual Dock Replacements Project's. The proposed project timeline is as follows: * Consultant Selection and Agreement - May 2021 * Scope of Work Development - May/June 2021 * Consultant Contract Award - June 2021 * Conceptual Design - July/August 2021 *Preliminary Engineering - Fall 2021 * Permitting - 2022 * Construction (M&N Docks) - 2023 Questions regarding this Request for Qualifications should be directed via e-mail only to Scott Wilkins at swilkins@desmoineswa.gov.
