Sealed Bids for the construction of the indicated project will be received by the City of Heath, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read at that time and location by the City Auditor or Designee. All Bids submitted shall include one original set of the Bid Documents. The Work is located at the City of Heath Wastewater Treatment Plant, 719 Licking View Drive, Heath, OH 43056. The Work consists of the following: Modifications to the Effluent Pump Station at the Heath Wastewater Treatment Plant, including raising the walls of the headbox and installation of new discharge piping on the effluent pumps. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated on the Bid Form. Planroom Following registration, complete sets of Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the Issuing Office's website as "zipped" portable document format (PDF) files. The cost of printing Bidding Documents and shipping is non-refundable. Payments shall be made to the Issuing Office. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery method of choice; the shipping charge will depend on the shipping method chosen. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. The Bidding Documents will include one full-size set of Drawings with a printed copy of the Project Manual. Partial sets of the Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including any addenda, obtained from a source other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents may be examined at the following locations and times: Issuing Office Electronically via website Heath Municipal Building, 1287 Hebron Road, Heath, OH 43056, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. Each Bidder must be a Bidding Document Holder. Bids submitted by Bidders not on the list of Bidding Documents (Plan) Holders with the Issuing Office will not be opened. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If a contract is awarded, the award shall be made to the lowest and best bidder, as determined by the City of Heath in its sole discretion. The City of Heath reserves the rights to reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities that do not substantively alter a bid.
