Renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensburg, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and laboratory facility.

The scope of work for this project shall involve an expansion of the Owner's existing Trane DDC Control system. The work generally consists of the relocation of an existing modular Trane air handling unit suspended within the space to a nearby location within the same space. The air handing unit contains a unit mounted VFD for the supply fan, and a unit mounted temperature control panel. Control components associated with the unit shall be added to allow the air handling unit to control supply fan to maintain discharge air control and discharge static pressure control. Provide new return air temperature sensor, return air CO2 sensor, and space humidity sensor. Air handling unit shall supply air to variable volume air terminals with heating water coils. All new equipment shall be integrated into the Owner's front end to match existing standards. All control components associated with the existing AHU to be relocated shall be reused, however, contractor shall verify operation of all sensors, actuators, relays, etc. All materials and equipment used shall be standard components, regularly manufactured for this and/or other systems and not custom designed specifically for this project. All systems components shall have been thoroughly tested and proven in actual use for at least two years. BAS manufacturer shall be responsible for all BAS and Temperature Control wiring for a complete and operable system. All wiring shall be done in accordance with all local and national codes. Control wiring network throughout building shall be completely independent of all other communication/technology systems. BAS manufacturer shall furnish and/or install all integrated equipment and systems specified herein. Furnish and install control panels. Furnish and install all control wiring that is a part of this contract. Furnish all motorized temperature control dampers, valves and actuators. Furnish and install all interlocking wiring between mechanical and electrical system components as herein specified including wiring of cooling tower vibration cutout switches. Furnish and install all 120 volt, 24 volt, communication wiring, data wiring, conduit and accessories to all control panels, actuators, control devices that are part of the Temperature Control System.
