Renovation of a municipal facility in De Kalb, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Board of Supervisors of Kemper County reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit with his bid or bids, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Mechanically secure one (1) layer of polyisocyanurate flute filler insulation into flutes. All flute filler to be pre-cut flute filler sized to fit. Contractor to verify sizes and quantities. Polystyrene products are not allowed. Remove all abandoned penetrations and properly dispose of off-site. Restroom vents to remain. Remove existing HVAC units, curbs and surface mounted ducts. Contractor to disconnect and terminate electrical service to units. Openings in roofto be patched with metal roof panels similar to existing. Salvaged panels removed under item 2 may be used for patching. Existing building was constructed as an original building and later under different ownership was expanded to its current configuration. The original building roof was over layed during the construction ofthe addition. Thus, there are two roofs on the original portion of the building. Contractor shall remove the top layer of roof materials down to the original roof.
