Renovation of a mixed-use development in Streamwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Village of Streamwood hereby invites All Trade Bidders to bid for construction and renovation services required for the existing Fire Station #33 Renovation and 5 Additional Misc. Village Projects. Competitive Public Trade Bid All prospective trade bidders must be able to demonstrate they have successfully completed government work during the last 5 years in order to bid these six (6) projects. The ability of a Trade Bidder to provide a Bid and Performance and Material Payment Bonds shall not be the sole determination of a Trade Bidder's qualification to bid. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act applies to this project. All laborers, workers and mechanics engaged in the construction and renovation of existing Fire Station #33 & the 5 Additional Misc. Village Projects shall be paid no less than applicable Prevailing Wage Rates. Bidders shall minimally provide insurance coverage per the Village of Streamwood's requirements. The Village of Streamwood reserves the right to reject any and all bids, including any alternates considered, to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding, and to accept any proposal that the Village Board of Trustees deems most favorable for the best interest of the Village.
