All questions by prospective bidders must be submitted at least five business days before the date set for the receipt of general bids. The Town of Stoughton invites sealed bids for the South Stoughton Sewer Expansion, Contract I in accordance with the documents prepared by Environmental Partners Group dated April 2021. General Bids will be accepted only from bidders with current MassDOT prequalification for Sewer and Water classification. The Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to, furnishing all labor, services, equipment, and materials for the installation of new gravity sewer and pressurized sewer force main piping on Park Street, Tenth Street, Turnpike Street, Campanelli Parkway, and Shuman Avenue. Work shall include: erosion and sedimentation controls; excavation support and dewatering; installation of new PVC gravity sewer piping, manholes, and services; installation of new PVC force main piping, valves, air release manholes, and blowoff/cleanout manholes; temporary and permanent paving within local roads and within MassDOT State Roads; final landscape and site restoration; and all other incidentals and appurtenances related to the work. All work within the state highway layout shall meet the requirements of MassDOT Permit # 5-2020-0648.
