As of March 8, 2022. The project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded in April.** The DAY HILL ROAD ADAPTIVE TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM PROJECT (State Project 164-240), WINDSOR, CT involves traffic signal system optimization and installation of new adaptive signal controllers, and fiber optic communications interconnection at 11 intersections along a 3.5-mile section of Day Hill Road from State Route 75 to State Route 187. Additionally, the project entails Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramp upgrades at 2 of the 11 project intersections. Federal Express orders will only be considered if accompanied by a properly filled out Federal Express form (one form for each set ordered), charging the order to the Contractor's account. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive defects in same if it is deemed in the best interest of the Town of Windsor.
