The scope of the work shall consist of furnishing and storing materials and equipment, delivering materials and equipment, and performing work to replace or repair appurtenances damaged as the result of incidents that occur systemwide. Incidents generally consist of discernible events such as vehicle crashes, weather, or other unforeseen occurrences that lead to damaged Tollway median or roadside elements ("Appurtenances"). Questions pertaining to the intent of the contract documents may be sent to the Illinois Tollway, attention 4276D.4579_Questions@docs.e-builder.net, to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on May 4, 2021 The improvements to be constructed under this contract shall be performed at various locations on the Illinois Tollway System including the: Reagan Memorial Tollway (I-88), Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), Tri-State Tollway (I-294/94), Veteran's Memorial Tollway (I-355), and Elgin O'Hare Western Access (IL-390) in the counties of Boone, Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Lake, Lee, McHenry, Ogle, Whiteside, Will, and Winnebago. The repair locations are anticipated to be on the Reagan Memorial Tollway between Milepost 117.0 (IL RT 31) and Milepost 140.4 (I-290), the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) between Milepost 54.6 (IL RT 31) and Milepost 78.6 (I-190), the Tri-State Tollway (I-94) between Milepost 0.5 (Russell Road) and Milepost 30.0 (Edens Expressway), the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) between Milepost 0.0 (IL 394) and Milepost 52.4 (I-94), the Veterans Memorial Tollway (I-355) between Milepost 0.0 (I-80) and Milepost 29.8 (Army Trail Road) and the Elgin O'Hare Western Access (IL 390) between Milepost 5.9 (Lake Street) and Milepost 13.5 (Arlington Heights Road). Work may be done adjacent to Tollway mainline pavements, ramps, within interchanges, or within toll plaza areas systemwide. This contract does not specify any specific work locations directly, rather all intended work will be directed in writing in accordance with a series of Engineer's Task Orders and/or Work Orders that will be issued individually on an "Upon Request / As Needed" basis subsequent to the Award of this Contract.
