Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Genoa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work associated with the Freeman Street work area of the contract is a Wisconsin Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) MSILT Project. Four work areas make up the project (Sumner Court, 1st Street, Freeman Street, and Library Parking Lot). Major work items and approximate quantities include: Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Paving 1840 TON, Concrete Curb and Gutter 4780 LF, Concrete Sidewalk 11,580 SF, Storm Sewer Relay 280 LF, Sanitary Sewer Relay 660 LF, Force Main Relay 240 LF, Sanitary Sewer Lining 810 LF, Common Excavation 5200 CY, Water Main Relay 2,330 LF (and associated valves, hydrants, water services, curb boxes), Dense Aggregate Base (3", 1-1/4" and 3/4) 7,230 Tons, all associated turf restoration, erosion control, traffic control, grubbing, associated concrete sidewalk and curb and gutter removals and other required removals. This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and the right to accept the Bid or Bids which best serve the interests of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Sections 62.15 and 66.0901. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. Owner reserves the right to postpone the award of the Contract for a period not exceeding 45 days from the date of bid opening. Bids shall remain firm for that period of time. The Owner further reserves the right to retain the security deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders during that time.
