As of January 13, 2022, a design firm has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Tohopekaliga Water Authority (Toho) invites interested engineering consulting firms with experience in water treatment plant (WTP) upgrade and expansion design and, in particular, experience in water treatment processes to remove organic (TOCs), color, hydrogen sulfide, etc. to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for alternative evaluation, preliminary design, final design, permitting, bidding assistance, construction administration, and other miscellaneous related services for the Harmony WTP upgrades and expansions. The project will upgrade and expand the existing WTP potentially in multiple phases and include other improvements necessary to meet potable water demand in the service area.
