The Work includes but is not limited to providing all labor, materials, equipment, tools and incidentals to perform, and complete electrical and telecommunication systems installations in support of Safedock equipment installation. Project scope occurs within Seattle-Tacoma International Airport associated to Concourse Gates SafeDock Equipment installation. Safedock/AVGS units shall be installed and commissioned by others. The electrical work required per Division 26 specifications includes but is not limited to the following: Electrical work of raceways, wiring, boxes, transformers, miscellaneous electrical devices, temporary power and lighting assemblies, and equipment. Provide testing and grounding in accordance with all requirements of the code-enforcing agencies. Work may also include: Revisions, relocations, and additions of power and data raceways, supports, boxes, wiring, receptacles and switches. Installation, termination, testing, and labeling of all new and remodeled Electrical infrastructure. Demolition support of existing equipment including but not limited to radio equipment and cabling, security checkpoint equipment, flight displays, signage, lighting, cameras, and other electrical systems; shall consist of securing and preserving of existing electrical circuits for future use. Installation support of radio and passenger loading bridge equipment, relocation of existing equipment, and enabling work. Contractor will coordinate with Port Construction Services for support with carpentry, concrete repairs, core-drilling, asbestos and lead abatement, and any other trade work as necessary to support the above-mentioned areas of work. The telecommunications work required per Division 27 specifications includes, but is not limited to the following: Installations of telecommunication innerducts, wireways, racks, cabinets, and demarcation and copper/fiber optic patch panels to support installation of communication infrastructure, pulling of communication infrastructure through new and existing raceways, cabling, miscellaneous communication devices, temporary assemblies, and equipment and testing, in accordance with all requirements of the code-enforcing agencies. Demolition support includes but is not limited to radio equipment, flight displays and enabling work shall consist of removing and/or securing and preserving of existing communication infrastructure for future use. Installation includes but is not limited to new and/or relocated radio equipment and infrastructure, relocating existing equipment, enabling work to accommodate the re-establishment of radio equipment, electronic displays, WiFi access points, checkpoint work, and installation of associated telecommunications equipment and systems. Performance and Payment bonds will be required with the Contract. Each bond shall be in the full amount of the contract sum. No bid bond is required. Labor and Industries require a "Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages" and "Affidavit of Wages Paid". The expense of such is the responsibility of the Contractor. If the Port exercises its option to extend the contract an additional year, then new Intents and Affidavits will be required for the additional contract year at the prevailing wage rates published at that time. The contract rates will be amended to reflect the changes in prevailing wage, if any. A portion of this Contract requires work to be performed within an area of the Airport controlled for security reasons. All Contractor personnel working in restricted areas (including AOA, Secured, SIDA and Sterile areas) on this project shall have Port of Seattle airport-issued identification / access badges in accordance with Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 1540/1542 and the Airport Security Plan. Bidders should consider the impact of acquiring badges when preparing their bids. The Port reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality, to accept any alternate bids, and to make such award that it deems to be in its best interest and pursuant to the terms of the General Conditions. Contract time extends from Execution of the contract through Completion as defined in the General Conditions.
