Per the owner, this project is currently on hold. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Sanibel plans to engage the professional and technical services of a Florida registered architect in conjunction with construction of the Center 4 Life (Senior Center) located at 2475 Library Way. The scope of architectural services may include, but is not limited to the following: 1. Firm must be knowledgeable of rules and regulations pertaining to design and construction of public, municipal-owned facilities. 2. Develop options for building expansion and utilization of interior space. 3. Perform design and construction services for site improvements, building expansion and interior modifications. 4. Assist the City with the bidding process. 5. Provide construction services including shop drawing review and construction inspection. 6. Provide construction cost estimates. 7. Requires possible interaction with Sanibel City Council and Planning Commission, City Committees, City Staff, Lee County, other governmental regulatory and permitting agencies, and the public on an as needed basis. 8. Presentations before City Council and Planning Commission may be necessary. 9. A firm may desire to affiliate with one or more firms in responding to this proposal for the purpose of providing the full range of services sought by the City. 10. Assist City with various other facility related projects as needed. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
