Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Port Neches, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Bid Security, only in the form of: 1) a certified or cashier's check drawn on a Texas bank and made payable to the City of Port Neches; or 2) a bond executed by a surety company authorized to do business in Texas, in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent of the total bid, must accompany each bid at the time it is submitted. Bids must be submitted on the form shown in the Contract Documents. A Contractor Qualification Statement must also accompany each bid. Bids may be held by the City of Port Neches, Texas for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. Upon award, the successful bidder will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds. The right is reserved by the City of Port Neches, Texas, as its interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received.
