RidgeGate South Water Main Project in the City of Lone Tree and Douglas County. Within Douglas County the water main crosses the northwest quarter of Section 30, Township 6 South, Range 66 West and a portion of the northeast quarter of Section 25, Township 6 South, Range 67 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Douglas County, Colorado. Once in the City of Lone Tree, the water main alignment crosses the southern half of Section 24, Township 6 South, Range 67 West and terminates in the eastern half of Section 23, Township 6 South, Range 67 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian in Douglas County, Colorado. The project includes but is not limited to; installation and maintenance of erosion control Best Management Practices (BMPs), traffic control, furnishing and installing; approximately 13,300 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron water main, approximately 445 linear feet of 20-inch ductile iron water main, valves, hydrants, and appurtenances. It is anticipated the Notice to Proceed will be issued late June 2021. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after said closing time. Bidder pre-qualifications will not be required for this project; provided, however, upon evaluation of bids, the apparent low bidder must be prepared to demonstrate his qualifications by submitted evidence to the District such as financial data, previous experience, authority to conduct business in the jurisdiction where the project is located, and other requirements as may be specified in the Contract Documents. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashiers Check or Certified Check, payable to Rampart Range Metropolitan District No. 5 in the amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total amount of the Bid, to be retained by the District, will be required until a contract is executed. If the successful Bidder should fail to enter into a contract with the District, his check or bid bond will be held as liquidated damages, in which event the Contract may then be awarded to the next lowest qualified bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to accept the proposal that in the opinion of the Owner is in the best interest of Rampart Range Metropolitan District No. 5.
