The Oregon Department of Transportation ("ODOT" or "Agency") is seeking 1 qualified Contractor to provide services to improve the clear zone distance along the Redwood Highway (US 199), from Milepoints 27.34 to 37.162, by removing identified trees located within the clear zone. All tree vegetation shall be removed as part of the project. All traffic control required to complete this tree removal work will also be the responsibility of the project. The work is located in Josephine County, Oregon. The term of the Agreement begins on the date the Agreement receives all required signatures and must be completed by June 15, 2022 or when all Contractor obligations under the Agreement are completed in conformance with all applicable requirements, whichever is sooner. Contractor and all subcontractors are required to pay applicable prevailing wage rates to subject employees working on the prospective project. I will issue an Addendum to change the date for tree removal to May 31, 2022.
