Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Yosemite National Park, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project will consist of the construction of a 250-space parking lot adjacent to the existing Yosemite Village Store parking lot and drainage improvements and paving of the unpaved portions of the 350-space Valley Day-Use South parking lot originally constructed in 2017, within Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, CA. This project increases the day-use parking capacity at the primary arrival point for incoming motorists who have no campsite or hotel reservations and improves pedestrian circulation and access from the parking lots to the visitor center in the Yosemite Village area. Modifications to Bids - Bids may be modified or withdrawn by regular mail, electronic commerce (email) or facsimile, if such notice is received prior to the time specified for receipt of bids. The Government will not be responsible for ANY failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of electronic commerce (email) or facsimile data. For all modifications, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to resubmit the entire bid schedule with a unit price and amount for every bid item, and a Schedule Total. See FAR Provision 52.214-5, Submission of Bids. Modifications which make the bid ambiguous, indefinite, or uncertain as to any essential requirement of the contract will cause the bid to be rejected as nonresponsive. POST AWARD INFORMATION CFLHD will no longer be providing paper copies of the conformed contract to the Awarded Prime Contractor. Subcontracting - FAR Clause 52.219-8, Utilization of Small Business Concerns states that Prime Contractors afford small business concerns, veteran-owned small business concerns, service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns, HUBZone small business concerns, small disadvantaged business concerns, and women-owned small business concerns the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in performing contracts let by any Federal agency. FAR Clause 52.219-9, Small Business Subcontracting Plan, Alternate I, requires that the large business concern who is the successful low bidder on a Federal project with an anticipated award amount exceeding $1.5 million, is required to submit a subcontracting plan prior to contract award. The subcontracting plan expresses goals in terms of percentages of total planned subcontracting dollars for the use of small business, veteran-owned small business, service-disabled veteran-owned small business, HUBZone small business, small disadvantaged business, and women-owned small business concerns as subcontractors. If the apparent successful low bidder fails to submit an acceptable subcontracting plan acceptable to the CO within 7 days of request of the CO, that bidder may be ineligible for award of the contract. The CO will issue a Notice to Proceed before commencement of any work. The contract completion date is September 29, 2022. No additional time will be added if Option X is exercised. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within ten (10) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than {Refer to Subsection 108.01 of the SCRs}. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises. The completion date is based on the assumption that the successful offeror will receive the notice to proceed by May 11, 2022. The completion date will be extended by the number of calendar days after the above date that the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, except to the extent that the delay in issuance of the notice to proceed results from the failure of the Contractor to execute the contract and give the required performance and payment bonds within the time specified in the offer. PRICE: The price range of the project work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
