The completion date for this project is December 10,2022. The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for milling, patching, resurfacing, and shoulder reconstruction on 4 sections of various primary and secondary routes in Buncombe County . Remove the existing raised pavement markers or the snowplowable pavement markers including the housings, before overlaying an existing roadway with pavement. Repair the pavement by filling holes. Furnish, install, and maintain non-cast iron snowplowable pavement markers in accordance with the contract. Firms that wish to perform work on Division Purchase Order Contracts as either the prime contractor or as a subcontractor on the project must be prequalified for the type work they wish to perform. Firms that wish to bid on these projects as the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to submitting your bid. Firms that wish to perform as a subcontractor to the prime contractor must be prequalified prior to beginning work on the project. Any firm that wishes to bid as a prime contractor shall be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor prior to submitting a bid.
