Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Brick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work to be performed under this Contract consists of the complete replacement of the existing single span, 30 long, concrete and timber bridge, with a single barrel 28 span, precast concrete, rigid frame founded on cast-in-place concrete footings supported on cast-in-place piles. The work includes construction of temporary and permanent steel sheeting, reinforced concrete wing walls, minor drainage, curbing, sidewalk, ADA ramps, roadway reconstruction, and new guide rail. Construction shall be staged to allow for two lanes of traffic to be operational at all times. Bidders must comply with P.L. 1975, C. 127 and 10% Surety required. Estimated construction cost range: $1,000,000.00 to $5,000,000.00 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
