Renovation of a mixed-use development in Montreal, Quebec. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
Upgrades, repairs and improvements to the Édifice Wilfrid-Derome located an 1701 Parthenais Street and housing offices of the Grand Quartier Général and various units of the Sûreté du Québec as well as offices of the Société Québécoise des Infrastructures. The scope of the project includes various interior renovations and redevelopment, replacement of existing generators located in the basement of the building with two new generators installed in an outdoor shelter, demolition of old oil installations and old cooling systems. In addition, a 1500 kW load bank will be installed on the roof of the parking. TIMELINE: The project is implemented by construction packages. The owner has issued a tender and awarded a contractor for interior redevelopment of the premises that is now followed in the report under CRM ID name Redevelopment of Premises at 1701, Rue Parthenais Montréal (Québec) H2K 3S7. Construction started. Subsequent tender(s) will be followed when/if they are issued in new separate reports.
