Site work and paving for a civil project in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The timber bridge supplier will develop the timber bridge installation plans and have them available to the successful bidder and work with the Contractor in the installation of the bridges. The location of the site is located approximately 1.6 miles east of U.S.31 in the Village of Pellston. E. Robinson Road is a hard-surfaced primary road 24 wide with a 2021 traffic count of 2,394. The Emmet County Road Commission will set up the detour with our own forces. E. Robinson Road over E. Branch of Maple River currently has 3 60 corrugated metal culverts. Removal of the culverts is to be included in the bid. The Board of Emmet County Road Commissioners will likely award the work at its Friday, March 18, 2022, meeting The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities in the bid procedure, and to award in the best interest of the Road Commission The Contractor is not required to pay current prevailing wage rates.
