Site work for a water / sewer project in Martinez, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of renovation of approximately 9,300 LF of existing sewer pipe lines by open-cut, pipe-bursting and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining methods. The estimated cost of construction is $4,000,000. Central San, at its discretion, may add additional sites to the project after Award of the Construction Contract. o The work generally consists of the renovation of approximately 9,300 LF of existing sewer pipelines by open-cut, pipe-bursting and cured-in-place (CIPP) lining methods, installation of manholes, and reconnection of laterals and paving. o The contractor should be made aware that multiple easement sites may be difficult to access with equipment; see General Note #39 on Drawing G-4 of Volume 3. The contractor may need to use hand-dig methods as necessary. o Multiple sites include the construction of short-radius curves that will require the use of 3-degree fittings and nonstandard pipe lengths, see General Note #32 on Drawing G-4 of Volume 3. o Project sites include work in various local jurisdictions, including the City of Walnut Creek, City of Lafayette, and unincorporated areas of Contra Costa County. o Engineering Cost Estimate: $4,000,000
