This Request for Proposals (RFP) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFP is being issued to solicit a letter of Interest (LOI) and other documents from firms qualified to perform engineering work on federal aid projects. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered. Berry Street, Suite 280 Fort Wayne, Indiana 46802 (260) 449-7369 bill.hartman@co.allen.in.us Project Location: Approximately 3.3 miles east of US 27 and 7.2 miles west of the town of Monroeville in Allen County, Indiana Construction of a single-lane roundabout to replace existing two-way stop-controlled intersection of Wayne Trace and Monroeville Road, and realignment of Brunson Road at Wayne Trace approximately 700 feet southeast of the proposed roundabout to create a T-intersection; reconstruction/rehabilitation of all approaches to the two intersections, to include new pavement sections, milling, widening, overlay and wedge and level as needed; new ornamental streetlights, pavement markings and traffic control signs; all to be in accordance with current design standards. Roadway Improvements will consist of two 12-foot travel lanes (one lane in each direction) extending approximately 500 feet east, west, and northwest of the existing Monroeville Road-Wayne Trace intersection and approximately 800-ft southeast along Wayne Trace through the Brunson Road intersection.
