Question Acceptance Deadline 05/20/2021 02:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes The work, as specified in this Request for Bids (RFB) #489024 / Project #PC-808, shall consist of the following (all quantities approximate): 25,000 feet of reinforced concrete storm sewer ranging in size from 12-inch to 84-inch in diameter, 4,300 feet of PVC sanitary sewer ranging in size from 12-inch to 24-inch in diameter, Two earthen stormwater management basins ranging in depth from 10 to 15 feet deep with outlet control systems, riprap stabilization and native stormwater and prairie seed mix restoration, 36,000 square yards of concrete road construction, 42,000 square yards of asphalt paving, ADA concrete sidewalk ramps, driveways and turf grass restoration, 3,000 feet of prairie and mowed pathway construction, 16,000 feet of cured-in-place sewer rehabilitation ranging in size from 12-inch to 54-inch diameter, 15,0000 feet of horizontally drilled 8-inch and 12-inch HDPE water main including valves, services and other appurtenances, 1,300 feet of 12-inch HDPE water main installed via pipe-bursting including valves, services and other appurtenances. Pipe bursting will also include installation of a temporary water service to maintain service, and Hydro excavating of 538 curb stops and replacement of non-copper water services as necessary. The work includes Lead (Pb) Service Line Replacement, both in the right of way and from curb box to the property water meter and will include the coordination between Contractor and the DWSD Lead Service Line Team. Contractor shall coordinate with Lead Service Line Team for interaction and communication with residents, delivery of notices, pitchers/filters to residents, and all other requirements as found in the specifications for Lead Service Line Replacement. The work will also include the disconnection of residential downspouts. Due to the extreme inconvenience to DWSD service customers and the public in general, and also seasonal restrictions, water main replacement work may be temporarily halted after the second week of November, or as authorized by DWSD. Contract work shall promptly resume during the third week of April of the following year, or as authorized by DWSD. The project is for an estimated term of 2,066 calendar days.
